For the Artemis II Crew Sun Catcher
Four humans are going around the moon. Four. I built this piece for them — and for everyone watching from the ground holding their breath. A silver 3D geometric frame holding a clear A/B crystal at its center, with four crescent moon charms and a figure suspended in a ring below it, and a moon-shaped crystal pendant at the bottom that glows like the thing they're actually going to see up close. This one is a love letter to the mission and to the crew making history inside it.
Key Features
- Silver 3D geometric diamond wire frame — angular, precise, the kind of structure that feels like engineering and art at the same time
- Four silver crescent moon charms hanging from the frame — one for each Artemis II crew member, placed intentionally and not up for debate
- Silver figure inside a ring connector suspended below the frame — an astronaut in orbit, doing the thing
- Clear A/B iridescent spear crystal drops cascading from the frame edges — bright, clean, and scattering light like solar panels catching the sun
- Large clear moon-shaped crystal pendant drop at the bottom — opalescent, full, and genuinely one of the most beautiful drops I've ever finished a piece with
- Green crystal topper accent just above the moon pendant — a small detail that ties the piece back to Earth
- Clear opalescent faceted bead header at the top keeping the entry point clean and bright
- Silver hardware throughout — cool-toned, precise, mission-ready
The Kristen's Catchers Difference
Handcrafted by me in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the Artemis II crew specifically in mind. The four moon charms were deliberate — Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen each get one. The moon pendant at the bottom is where they're going. I don't usually explain my design decisions this thoroughly but this piece earned it. It's the third in my Artemis series and the most personal one.
How to Display
A window with direct light is where those spear crystals and the moon pendant absolutely perform — clean, bright, scattered light in every direction. It also looks stunning in a home office, a study, or anywhere someone who follows space history closely spends their time. Which, if you're reading this, is probably you.
Care Instructions
Dry microfiber cloth and a little breath. Handle the moon pendant with care — it's going somewhere important.
