This is a 12 inch wooden ring sun catcher built in a snowflake style, with eight crystal points sized between 2 and 3 inches radiating out for maximum rainbow payoff. I hand drilled and set mini eye hole screws around the wood myself to give every crystal a real anchor point, which is a very different build process than working with a metal frame. This was the very first snowflake style piece I ever made, and honestly, figuring out the wood construction on this one taught me a lot.
