Glow Up Unicorn Sun Catcher Headband
This is a handmade glow-in-the-dark unicorn sun catcher headband: a flexible plastic crown with a spiral horn, two pointed ears, and a faceted crystal ball hanging from each ear that throws rainbows in sunlight, glows after dark, and lights up under UV blacklight. Translation: it is a headband for people who refuse to be normal about unicorns, and honestly, same. Wear it in the sun and the crystals scatter rainbows. Charge it under any light and it glows once the room goes dark. Stand near a blacklight and the whole thing goes full neon. One headband, three different light shows.

The Kristen's Catchers Difference
I make every headband myself in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I use real faceted crystal balls, not cloudy plastic blobs, so the rainbows are the genuine article. The glow-and-blacklight frame was a deliberate pick because a unicorn headband should absolutely have a nighttime mode. Unlike my window sun catchers, headbands are not one of a kind, so if you love this one I can usually make you another.
How to Wear It
Pop it on like any headband. The flexible frame stretches to fit, so it stays put without pinching. Step into sunlight or stand by a bright window and let the crystal balls throw rainbows. For the glow, hold it under a lamp or in daylight for a few minutes, then head somewhere dark. For the neon effect, find a UV blacklight and watch it light up.
Care Instructions
Wipe the crystals with a soft, dry cloth to keep them sparkling. Keep it away from harsh chemicals, and store it somewhere it will not get crushed. The plastic is flexible, but it is still plastic, so do not over-stretch it past where it wants to go.
Common Questions
How big is it? About 4.5 inches wide, stretching to 6 inches, and 8.5 inches tall from the headband base to the tip of the horn. The crystal balls are roughly 0.78 inches each.
Does it really glow and work under blacklight? Yes to both. The frame glows in the dark after it charges under any light, and it fluoresces under UV blacklight, which makes it a great pick for parties and festivals.
Is it sold out, or can you make a custom one? Headbands are not one of a kind, so if this one is sold out, message me and I can usually make another. Want a different crystal or color combo? Message me and we will build it.
