The Golden Ratio Sun Catcher

I don't usually call my own work experimental but this one earned the title. A large gold triangle frame — clean, geometric, completely unexpected as a sun catcher format — suspending a large sunburst-etched oval crystal from its apex on a gold chain, crowned with red, amber, and yellow crystal beads that gradient down like a flame. It works. It works so well I'm a little annoyed I haven't done this before. One of a kind in more ways than one.

Key Features

  • Large gold triangle frame — the main event and the experiment in one; clean angles, warm finish, nothing else like it in my shop
  • Large sunburst-etched oval crystal pendant suspended inside the triangle — star-cut center radiating outward, and when direct light hits it the whole room knows about it
  • Red, amber, and yellow gradient bead header — a warm flame ombre descending into the gold ring connector at the triangle apex
  • Clear square lattice-cut crystal connector on the interior chain above the sunburst pendant — a clean geometric step between the ring and the main crystal
  • Small red and green crystal accent charms at the top of the sunburst pendant — a tiny detail that ties the warm header palette back into the pendant
  • Gold hardware throughout — ring connector, chain, triangle frame, all cohesive and warm

The Kristen's Catchers Difference

Handcrafted by me in Las Vegas, Nevada, and genuinely unlike anything else I've made. The triangle frame format was a risk and it paid off completely. The sunburst crystal inside it catches and throws light in sharp radiating patterns that feel deliberate and architectural in a way that round pendants simply don't. I built one to see if it worked. It did. Here it is.

How to Display

Direct sunlight through that sunburst crystal is the whole point — the etched star center fractures light into radiating spokes across your walls that look like an actual sunburst. The triangle frame silhouette against a window is a statement all on its own even before the light gets involved. Hang it somewhere you'll see it often because you're going to want to.

Care Instructions

Dry microfiber cloth and a little breath. Handle the triangle frame with care — the geometry is the whole point and it's worth protecting.

Why Choose Kristen's Catchers?

Because this is a legitimate one-of-a-kind experiment that worked, made by hand, and available exactly once. If you've ever wanted a sun catcher that made people ask where you got it and then had no answer for them — this is it. Add it to your cart.

The experiment was a success. The window is the lab. Add it to your cart.
