Bruised Sky Sun Catcher

That sky right after a storm when the clouds go deep violet and the light turns everything purple and a little dramatic — that's this piece. Deep indigo at the top bleeding into hot magenta, then bronze-purple, then soft lavender, then back through wine and deep violet before landing on a dark amethyst teardrop that looks like it was pulled straight out of that post-storm sky. Moody, beautiful, and completely unapologetic about both.

Key Features

  • Full purple gradient bead strand flowing from deep indigo through hot magenta, bronze-purple, soft lavender, wine, and back to deep violet — the full dramatic range of purple in one strand
  • Each bead a distinct shade — the lavender center lands as a breath of softness between the intense tones above and below it, making the deep ends hit even harder
  • Bronze chain and hardware throughout — warm and earthy against the cool purple palette, creating just enough tension to make the whole thing interesting
  • Deep amethyst teardrop pendant drop at the bottom — dark, rich, and absolutely luminous when light moves through it

The Kristen's Catchers Difference

Handcrafted by me in Las Vegas, Nevada, with every bead individually sourced to get this gradient exactly right. Purple is the hardest color family to gradient because the range between indigo and lavender and magenta and wine is enormous — getting them to flow rather than clash takes real attention. This one flows. The bronze hardware against all that purple was the finishing decision that made it sing.

How to Display

Direct sunlight through that amethyst teardrop throws the most gorgeous deep purple light across your walls — rich and saturated in a way that lighter pendants simply can't match. It also looks stunning in softer light where the gradient reads as moody and atmospheric rather than electric. Both versions are correct.

Care Instructions

Dry microfiber cloth and a little breath. The storm already passed — easy from here.

Why Choose Kristen's Catchers?

Because a hand-sourced full purple gradient with bronze hardware and a dark amethyst teardrop is a specific and excellent thing and there is one of them. Add it to your cart before the sky clears.
